What Interchange Does

Interchange lets one workspace request data from another workspace. A request stays pending until the target workspace approves or rejects it. Approved requests become active connections that can move data between workspaces.

Use Interchange when a partner, participant, subcontractor, borrower, or program member needs to share data with another workspace in ConStrat.

Common Uses

  • Program managers request financial, compliance, workforce, and impact data from participants.
  • CDFIs request borrower data for portfolio monitoring and risk review.
  • General contractors request subcontractor data for prequalification, capacity review, and compliance.
  • Trade contractors review incoming requests and decide which partners can receive their data.
  • Workspaces use cross-workspace chat when a request includes a communication relationship.

Data You Can Request

Before You Start

Confirm that you know which workspace should share data and why the data is needed. If you cannot find the workspace by name, search by workspace UUID, domain, NAICS code, CSI code, phone number, address, or admin contact.

For sensitive financial or compliance data, confirm that the other workspace expects the request before sending it.
